Tyler Pipe team members pause for a cause

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Tyler Pipe team members showed their support by donning pink on Friday, October 21.  Every year this event reminds team members of the brave individuals that lost their battle with the fight against cancer.

This year they proudly celebrated the life of Ginger Sweetman, the late wife of Tyler Pipe Safety Manager Ted Sweetman.  From the beginning, Ginger was told that she was dealing with a very aggressive form of cancer, but she never stopped searching for a cure and fought hard until the end.  In February of this year Ginger passed away. 

In many cases, the sooner cancer is diagnosed and treated, the better a person’s chance for a full recovery.  Ask your doctor about your cancer risk, problems to watch for, and be sure to schedule regular checkups.
