Susan McCann retires from Clow Canada after 26 years of service

Susan McCann is retiring from Clow Canada after 26 years of dedicated service. Prior to joining Clow she worked with Concord Daigle in their Wainfleet, Ontario office in the accounting department.  In 1989, McWane expanded into Canada forming Clow Canada which purchased Concord Daigle.  Clow Canada’s main office was located in Hamilton, Ontario and in 1991 Susan transferred to the main office as the accounts payable supervisor.  In April 1996, she was promoted to chief accountant.

During her career, Susan has worked closely with the VP general managers and several managers at the Saint John, New Brunswick and Medicine Hat, Alberta plants, as well as in Hamilton.  She was instrumental in the implementation of several computer systems, the new payroll system and helped with the development of the Lean program at the Clow Canada plant in Saint John.  She was also involved in the creation of the Northern Newsletter and the Clow Canada annual golf tournament for the Hamilton location.

Susan always made time to lend a helping hand and assist others when needed with their jobs.
