McWane Ductile introduces Seismic Flex Coupling at AWWA Conference

McWane Ductile introduced its new Seismic Flex Coupling at AWWA’s Annual Conference in Chicago on June 19-23. Designed by McWane Global with MSPL, it is McWane Ductile’s solution for pipelines installed in environments that experience seismic activity. The name Seismic Flex Coupling (SFC) was selected from over 100 names submitted in a naming contest. The winning entry came from Joe Ozimek, an Environmental Geologist at McWane Ductile-Utah. The SFC’s performance capabilities exceed seismic solutions offered by other pipe companies particularly in flexibility and expansion/contraction range.
