Jose Berrios and Sarno Kantong Nominated for Passion of Excellence Award

We are proud to announce that Atlantic States team members Jose Berrios and Sarno Kantong were nominated by Norman Rankis for the Atlantic States year-end Passion for Excellence Award.  Sarno is a 25 year veteran at Atlantic States and is a senior pipe finisher in the Finishing Department.

Atlantic States IT Programmer Norman Rankis said, “It is an honor and a privilege to recommend the bundling team for being a technology catalyst for change.  The team in a fast production environment implemented a Bar Code Scanning System to accurately inventory/track and report pipe as it leaves the Finishing Department.  The team on their own initiative fine-tuned this process as it was being tested and now into production.”

Congratulations Jose and Sarno for this well-deserved recognition!
