Clow Canada Receives Environmental Recognition Award

On February 24, 2016, Clow Canada received an award from Sustainable Saint John, a local group, in recognition of their environmental accomplishments.  The Environmental Recognition Award was presented to Clow Canada Plant Manager Ken Matthews at the Delta in Saint John.  Twelve other deserving companies in the area were also recognized at the event. 

This award is different from other awards in that it can “grow”.  The award is a tree and companies can earn “leaves” for their environmental improvements.  Sustainable Saint John awarded each company different leaves depending on the environmental initiatives they have completed.  Clow Canada earned six leaves for their tree for energy, composting, source reduction, waste management, recycling and special recognition. 

Companies can earn a total of twelve leaves and you can be sure that Clow Canada will be working hard to fill their tree over the coming years.
