McWane Ductile-New Jersey Team Members Learn about Life Transformation

On April 22, trainers from the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley visited McWane Ductile–New Jersey to educate team members about local programs that are available to them should the need arise.  The trainers walked team members through a 7-circuit classical Labyrinth (which represents transformation) that was designed 4,000 years ago. They were asked to follow the path to the center of the symbol.

At its most basic level, the labyrinth is a metaphor for a journey to the center of our deepest self and back out into the world, with a broadened understanding of who we are.  They use this demonstration in cancer support groups to help with the life transformation that takes place when you are dealing with cancer in yourself, a loved one, a spouse or a friend.
