Clow Valve hosts local emergency response authorities

On Friday, June 23, Clow Valve Company hosted local emergency response authorities to discuss the various hazards at Clow and procedures for responding to emergencies including fires, explosions, and chemical releases. In attendance were the Oskaloosa Police Department, the Oskaloosa Fire Department, the Mahaska County Health Partnership, and the Mahaska County Emergency Management/Hazmat Coordinator.

There was good dialogue and all indicated a desire to do this again in the future. Prior to their departure, Clow gave the emergency responders a tour of both the machine shop facility and the metal casting facility.
